Pear-fect Breakfast Bake (IL, BR)

We often hear people say they had “breakfast food for dinner”. What about having “dessert food for breakfast”? This Pear-fect breakfast sure feels like it!! Filling, nutritious and OMG GOOD!! I often add a sprinkle of InLiven probiotics or BerryRadical antioxidants to my Kefir (just because I CAN!!)


Pear-fect Breakfast (optional InLiven or BerryRadical)


1 organic pear (cut length-wise, cored)
Sprinkle of organic walnuts
Sprinkle of organic dried cranberries
Sprinkle of organic honey
Optional: Add dark chocolate chips to make it dessert!

Topped with:

1/3 cup organic Kefir (mix in ½ tsp of InLiven OR ½ teaspoon of BerryRadical)
¼ cup organic Granola



1- Preheat oven at 350 degrees (if you are using a toaster oven, reduce heat to 300 degree – you do not want to burn the toppings – trust me!!)

2- Garnish both halves (pear) with walnuts, dried cranberries and honey.

3- Bake for 10 minutes. Tip: I use porcelain baking dish with 6 holes to hold the pear perfectly straight while baking (also known as escargot plate).

4- Let Pear cool, then garnish with Kefir and granola.
