This Sweet and Spicy Green Mango salsa is sure to please all taste buds! It can be used as a dip for pita chips, corn chips or crackers. It can even be added as a topping on chicken or fish. What a fabulous way to take your alkalising Deep Green. Make it kid friendly by omitting the hot pepper; a naturally sweet yet healthy treat.
Sweet and Spicy Green Mango Salsa with Miessence Deep Green Alkalising
½ to ¾ ripe organic mango (diced)
1/3 cup organic orange pepper (minced)
1 ripe organic pear (minced)
2 Tbsp organic red onion (minced)
*1/2 to 1 hot yellow pepper OR Jalapeno (minced)
1 Tbsp fresh organic cilantro OR organic cilantro paste
1 tsp Deep Green alkalising
*Kid Friendly Option: Do not add the hot pepper if you would like to make a kid friendly salsa.
1 – Mix the orange juice, lime juice, sugar and salt.
2 – Incorporate in a large bowl; Mango, orange pepper, pear, red onion, *hot yellow OR jalapeno pepper.
3 – Add the cilantro and Deep Green alkalising. Mix well.
4 – Refrigerate for 2 hours. Mix and serve.
